Cost of Living in Turkey

07 December 2009

The cost of living in Turkey is the significant factor in comparing Turkish life quality with the rest of developed countries. To see the living wage in any country, the most important factors are the education cost, job opportunities, social welfare, cost of medicine, standard of life and expenditure on basic food items. For immigrants of developing countries, savings is the most significant aspect for which they migrate to Turkey or other parts of the world. Similarly the students who migrate to Turkey focus on low cost of living and facilitated life style.
As far as the income is concerned, the people working on low category jobs get such amount that can ensure proper life style. The cost of education in state run schools is quiet affordable for every one working and living in Turkey. In some places the education in state schools is free of cost but the education instruction language is Turkish. The two mediums of instruction are there. One is English medium and the other one is Turkish. The low or nil cost of schooling does not mean that the quality of education in governmental schools is inferior rather state run schools are to facilitate the masses.
The house rents vary from the quality and location of dwellings. The government employees get the house rent allowance so they live in the affordable houses. But in general housing is not a big issue as the minimum house rent is 250$. The minimum wage rate in the country is around three hundred dollars per day that makes the house rent affordable.
If the life cost of United Kingdom is compared with that of life cost in Turkey, it will be astonishing for people that the quality of life in Turkey is better than the United Kingdom. And the cost of living in Turkey is a good deal and stumpy as compare to the one in UK. People living in Turkey enjoy much more quality items of various kinds. The education, house rent, entertainment, various bills and food is available at low prices in Turkey which has helped reduce the differences between various social classes.
As the people of Turkey vale cooking at home, the cost of uncooked food items is highly affordable. The large amount of eating items is bought by the Turks but again the over all expenditure on food is insignificant. The cost of hospitalization is also half less than the hospitalization cost of United Kingdom.

Roles associated with a social position regarding family are well performed by every Turk as it is his primary responsibility. Father feels satisfaction in financially supporting his child until the child gets to an age of earning after completing his studies. The children in return are found to be committed to support parents in the old age. Modernity has not damaged the social setup and admiration of cultural self. The love and affection are also the important aspect of Turkish life. People have pride in their nationality and are patriotic towards the country.

Property investment in Turkey has been touted as one of the best things to do with your money, and because of this, many locals and foreigners have decided to put their money in things that would never be obsolete, nor would lose value in the future. And that “where” is in Turkish real estate properties. It is an established economic fact that land and other attachments to land do not lose their value immediately, even during times of economic lags and crises, and because of this, it would be like investing in gold, because you would have a kind of property or investment that would still be making money when a particular economy is not doing so well. This goes for every part of the world, not just in Europe. To invest in Turkey means gaining a foothold in one of the most progressive places in the world, with trade policies that are neoliberal, and a renewed vigor for capital and profits is something that Turkey is building upon now, owing to the fact that the labor market here is cheap, and can be utilized nearly immediately because foreign companies are given free reign within the country to operate as they will, with no government disturbances and no other things to curtail the progress and profit of companies themselves.

To invest in real estate property in Turkey means getting ahead, and building your future with the country well within the bounds of continuous progress and unrelenting development, owing to the fact also the base of people that would be directly your market is large, very, very large indeed, and for instance, if you are raring to introduce food produce into the branch of the global supermarket in the country of Turkey, you would not be disappointed since the consumer base is very flexible in terms of consumption and taste, and these can easily be altered with the right persuasion in the media and in print ads. `All in all it is a very winning proposition since it would be like planting seeds in a very ripe field and sprinkling water only when needed. The growth of your business and the growth of your real estate investment is assured, once again, because of the trade policies that have been put in place and because of this, you would not be losing, but gaining, gaining a lot from the enterprise itself. Relocation would not be problematic because there are many agencies and there are also other companies that handle the different kinds of problems that would be face by any foreign investor.
